I’m Jessica, the creator and author of Rhetorical DeVices. I recently earned my master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Alabama. I work in Human Resources, but after having spent most of my life working full-time and going to school I’ve found myself insanely bored with all of this free time I now have!

Rhetorical DeVices serves as my outlet for writing (hence: rhetorical) about the things I love, the things that conquer me, and the things I’m working on conquering (hence: DeVices). You may see topics ranging from cats (Maggie & Miller are my rescues), to fashion, to rants about being a spinster who can’t scrounge up the motivation to exercise (because who wants to pay money to join a gym?!), to my weekend projects and recipes.
